Hyundai Pocket PC Phone Doesn't Compromise Quality

The Hyundai pocket pc phone hit the shelves in 2006 with mixed reactions.  The Hyundai pocket pc phone is not made by Hyundai, the largest manufacturer in Korea who makes just about everything from small electronics to SUV’s.  The Hyundai pocket pc phone is actually made by a lesser known company called AnexTEK.

The Hyundai pocket pc phone A200 has some big name competition in the Korean mobile phone manufacturer’s race.  Samsung, LG, and Pantech are all made in Korea, making Hyundai kind of a little guy in the game.  This is causing some negative reaction amongst mobile phone connoisseurs (yes, there really is such a thing), but the Hyundai pocket pc phone looks like a phenomenal device on paper.

The Hyundai pocket pc phone boasts of an Intel 520 MHz processor powered by Windows Mobile.  That’s pretty darn fast.  It has a nice size display at 240 x 320. It has WiFi, Bluetooth, and tri-band GSM and GPRS.  There is a 1.3 megapixel camera with flash, stereo quality audio, and a numbers keypad.  Apparently the Hyundai pocket pc phone is quite affordable, too.  This is according to forum ratings, who have rated the Hyundai pocket pc phone very high.  I was able to find deals at one website offering the Hyundai pocket pc phone for only $19.99 (but they were also selling LG, Motorola, Samsung, and HP pocket pc’s for $19.99, so these numbers just seems wrong there).

At another forum I visited that was discussing the Hyundai pocket pc phone, customers were not so positive about it.  One said that he had tried to change some settings and now it won’t turn on, another said they have trouble with it freezing, and one other said that they won’t even sell the Hyundai pocket pc phone in his country because Hyundai has bad quality.  I don’t believe this is why, it is more likely that the Hyundai pocket pc phone was simply not released in his country by Hyundai.  To the other two with complaints, neither of them mentioned consulting their manual, so it is hard to determine if some basic troubleshooting might fix the problems.

I cannot personally make a comment about the Hyundai pocket pc phone because it was not released in my area either. I would be a customer as I am quite sure it would have been of the best deals on a pocket pc phone anywhere around here.  I can, however attest to the Hyundai product because I am on my second Hyundai car and I may never buy another brand.
